Le Ksar a été rénové il y a peu et une bonne partie du site s'est maintenant transformée en hôtel. Si les travaux de réhabilitation réalisés sont une bonne chose pour la préservation des bâtiments, on peut néanmoins se poser la question quant à la pertinence des transformations faites aux deux parties utilisées pour le tournage de l'Episode I. Particulièrement sur la zone du balcon de Qui-Gon Jinn qui a été profondément remaniée comme l'on peut le voir sur la photo ci-dessous alors que c'est précisément pour photographier cet endroit mémorable que beaucoup de gens font des milliers de kilomètres… Et qui fait toujours, en outre, une énorme publicité internationale au site (le grand panneau attestant du tournage du film figure en bonne place devant l'entrée). Il est vraiment dommage que les travaux n'aient pas pris plus en compte l'intérêt que revêtait la place telle qu'elle était à l'origine, car je suis persuadé qu'une simple remise en état aurait rendu l'endroit tout aussi attrayant qu'il ne l'est aujourd'hui…
The Ksar was renovated recently and a good part of the site is now converted into a hotel. If the rehabilitation work carried out are a good thing for the preservation of buildings, we can ask the question as to the pertinence of changes made to the two parts used for the filming of Episode I. Particularly in the area of the Qui-Gon Jinn's balcony which was deeply altered as we can see in the picture below, while it is precisely for photographing this memorable place that many people travel during thousands of miles... And which still also a huge international advertising (the large panel showing the filming location at the entrance). It is a pity that the work did not take into account the interest of the originally place, because I am convinced that a simple restoration would have made the place just as attractive than it is today... |
